About us

The Christian Alliance for Economic Cooperation and Social Development, l'Alliance Chrétienne pour la Coopération Économique et pour le Développement Social, abbreviated as ACCEDES, is a Christian development and relief organisation.

ACCEDES was officially recognised by the Burkinabé authorities (receipt number 95 266/MAT/SG/BGAT/DLPAJ) in 1995. ACCEDES was founded by the Alliance Church in Burkina Faso in order to contribute to the socio-economic development of our country. Having started with just one member of staff in 1995, ACCEDES has grown to include 20 full-time staff, 6 part-time staff and 3 volunteers today.

Our vision is tackle material and spiritual poverty by promoting holistic development with an approach that considers body, mind and soul. Our mission is to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through our various activities.

We aim to:

  • subscribe to a vision of development founded on evangelical Christian beliefs.
  • contribute to the promotion of grassroots development with the participation of local communities.
  • undertake activities to improve living conditions in rural and urban areas.
